Gigaclear Presentation in Hallaton

Robin Band, UK Sales Manager for Gigaclear presented their plans in Hallaton
on Wednesday 26th November.  Over 45 residents from the area attended.
The plan is to have two Fibre Cabinets in the area with capacity for ~400 Fibre to the Property connections in each.

The provisional time table is:

•  2-3 months of sales to achieve required order level.  The network design is underway and this will determine the %age of orders required for project viability.
• ~ 100 days for wayleaves, Highway planning and contractual issues with contractors.
• ~ 100 days to complete cable laying.

During the cable laying period, residents will be connected and then operational  immediately.
No charges are made until the connection is in use.  This provides time for contracts with other suppliers to be terminated.

For remoter properties Gigaclear may ask for a contribution towards the cable laying costs.  These charges are all at cost by the contractor.

Residents in rented properties are offered short term contracts of 3 months, with 3 months termination.
Residents ordering during the first 2-3 months will get double speed for the first year. Where  someone has ordered 1,000Mbps service they will receive free installation.
